Solid Spirit was first established when the people forming the company saw increasing demand for Australian made furniture crafted from solid Australian timbers, at a time when there was increasing dependency on mass produced foreign made furniture.

As consumers become increasingly interested in where timber originated from, and if habitats, plant and animal species, or whole human communities, have been wiped out as a result of destructive overseas slash and burn forestry practices, Solid Spirit provides an alternative.

Solid Spirit has set out to craft a range of furniture using Solid Australian Timbers certified by the Tasmanian Forestry commission and other forestry bodies where ever possible.
